Recap: Laksh birthday surprise… Annapurna, Swara and Sanskar’s conversation

Morning, Maheshwari mansion, living area

Another weekend in Maheshwari Mansion, everybody was busy in talks with their own groups. Swara and Ragini were planning to go for a shopping. On the other hand Annapurna and Sujata were discussing about some alliance came for Uttara, Ram and Sujata’s daughter who was doing her MBBS from Delhi. Whereas Laksh and Siya were engaged in their usual banter…
Away from all these enjoyment, Sanskar and Ram were involved in some serious talks…..
Sanskar: So, chahchaji how is your election campaign going on?
Ram: well its good here in Bhopal but we have to cover entire state in this short span of time…. for that I have to leave for Gwalior day after tomorrow…..
Sanskar (disappointed) So you won’t be here for the business party next week?
Ram: sorry dear, I am afraid I wouldn’t… although I have tried to postpone it but schedule is already tight packed, we can’t make changes…. I know you can manage dear
Sanskar: yeah…. I will
Ram lost in his thoughts, sanskar could see the traces of worries on his face. From past few days Ram was burdened with something, which he was trying to hide….
Sanskar: chachaji is something bothering you?
Ram: (back to his senses) no… no, nothing…. It’s just the pressure of work
Sanskar was searching for the honesty in his eyes for his words which he always had but today it was absent. Sanskar knew he was having his share of trouble but he wanted him to speak the truth willingly… till then he decided to wait

Afternoon, Siya’s room

Swara and Siya were stuck to the TV screen as they were towards the end of a Barbie movie “Snow white and seven dwarfs”. After the end they lied together on the bed….
Siya: (excited) Shona di, can I ask you something?
Swara: yes dear…..
Siya: do you have a boyfriend?
Swara: (shocked with her question) why are you asking this Siya?
Siya: you remember my friend Tina, she told me all adults have boyfriend or girlfriend. Do you have one?
Swara: No, I don’t have and Siya it’s not a rule to have a boyfriend or girlfriend if you are an adult..
Siya: (innocently) what did they do?
Swara: Who?
Siya: a boyfriend and a girlfriend
Swara puzzled with her question….. she was confused how to make her understand. She didn’t want to give her any false description nor did she want to ignore her question as it will only increase her curiosity…
Swara: they are like close friends…. They care for each other, fight with one and other but with a sorry they patch up again…..
Siya: like you and dad….
Swara was stunned by her words… “did I gave her the wrong explanation so she end up thinking like this?”
Swara: No dear…. He is your father and my boss…we aren’t even friends
Siya: ok….

Evening time, garden area

Ragini, Laksh, Swara, Siya the whole gang was there, enjoying the evening time together….
Siya: chachu, let’s play some game …. I am getting bore
Laksh: (ruffling her hairs) what do you want to play?
Siya: “enact game”
Swara: (curiously) what is it?
Siya: see in this game one person will tell you the name of any other person and you have to enact like that…
Ragini: (laughs) seriously are we going to play that…
Siya: (pleading) please chachi…. Pleaseeee….
Ragini: ok let’s play, who will do the first?
Siya: chachu….
Laksh: (stood up shaking his head) ok dear…. Tell me the name
Ragini: chachiji
Laksh: (frowning at ragini) “Ram, have you taken you medicine? Oh god when will you grow up (he was moving his hand while saying just like Sujata)
“Siya finish your food….don’t you know wasting food is a bad habit, ye chori ko bigad ke Rakh dia h Sanskar ne (sanskar has totally spoiled this girl)”
They all laugh out loud looking at Laksh…. He bends down to accept the praise
Laksh: (sitting near Ragini) So, how was it…. I know it was awesome
Ragini: (pulling his cheek) aawww…. My cute hubby…
Siya: (squealed) now it’s my turn… I will do Ragini chachi….
She bends her waist a little to take a curvy stance, playing with her hairs… “Mom, I was planning to make some sweet today, I have seen this recipe in Google, will you help me?” Laksh laughed and she continued “Laksh baby…. You are so cute, I love you my pumpkin” Ragini was embarrassed and shocked at the same time as how Siya knows about their bedroom talks….although Laksh whistle for that. Swara laughing looking at the little fire cracker… Laksh embraced her in his arm
Laksh: that was awesome dear…. You are a great actor
Ragini: you naughty girl… eavesdropping is a bad manner
Siya: (innocently) I didn’t do that….. It was an accident, I was just passing by your room and I heard…
Trio laughed at her explanation…..
Siya: now it’s Shona di’s turn…
Swara: (stood up) ok fine…. I am telling you, I am not good at it…. But if you are insisting then tell me the name, whom should I enact…
Laksh: (mischievous smile) bhai….
Swara: (shocked) No way, I can’t
Siya: (folding her hand) please Shona di… please….
Ragini: come-on Swara be a sporty, look how Siya is pleading…
Swara: (helplessly) ok fine, give me some time….
She took some time to scan him in her mind and then kept her hand in the pocket of her jeans like he does and she began “Miss Bose, don’t walk away when I am talking to you… I didn’t bring you here to spoil my daughter” she smirked and continued “No one says no to Sanskar Maheshwari”
In the midst of her act, she could see the changing expressions of her viewers. The faces that were thoroughly enjoying her performance a while ago were now numb, their still gazes silently warning her for an impending storm….
“Dad” Siya stoop up
He was standing there with his arms crossed against his chest, raised brows, wearing a hint that he heard everything… he was exactly behind Swara facing her back… she was frozen and scared, her pale face telling the story of her condition right now… she couldn’t dare to turn to him…
Laksh stood up holding Ragini and Siya’s hand… “come on guys, the show is over” he said with a teasing smirk
Swara was astounded with her companion’s traitorous act. Never in her bad dreams has she imagined them to leave her in the middle of the battle field, all alone and helpless…
“ask bhai about your performance” Laksh whispered in her ears
“Come on Siya, want to have ice-cream” Siya pleased with his offer hurriedly moved out
Now left were a lamb and a lion…. She was cursing her fate “Why always me, save me God”
“Miss Bose” his cold voice broke the moment of stunned silence, out of fear she closed her eyes tightly in a hope that when she will open them it will turn out nothing but here mere nightmare but to her dismay she found him standing in front of her as she opened her eyes….. she could clearly make out looking at his face that he wasn’t at all pleased with her performance… now there was nothing she could do…
Sanskar: Miss Bose unfortunately all your spectators left you in the middle of you performance but don’t worry you still have one, please continue…
He made himself comfortable on the chair in front of her, staring her continuously… she was on the verge of crying, he noticed her brimmed eyes…. Coming closer to her he whispered “I didn’t know someone is so keenly observing me, next time I will be careful”. Giving a teasing smirk he left leaving a baffled and bemused Swara behind………
