“okk now stop this rona dhona and all this senti stupid antics” Mahi spoke allowed breaking the hug. Anika and Gauri wiped away their tears and looked at each other. “For what reason you two were sobbing when I came?” Mahi asked raising his one eyebrow. Anika looked at Gauri and then looked down. “it’s ok Bhojai if you don’t want to say it infront of me fine” Gauri said looking at Anika. “Ek jhaap me deewar pe sat jaibe….. if you repeat this again” Anika yelled at Gauri for her stupid misunderstanding. “Who said I was uncomfortable? Why can’t I share my pain with you? You may be think me as your jethani but you are my sister and not devrani so just stop behaving like one”

Anika answered. “actually i…” Gauri tried to explain but our khirkitor Anika interrupted “no actually you are my sister and never dare to repeat that”. “Hmm.. you two carry on if you end then we can talk…. Till then let me have a sweet nap” Mahi said yawning. “no no ok I am saying” Anika said. “Thank God…. Please my dear bahena start” Mahi answered with great relief.
Anika started “I saw him today on Mishra ji’s daughter’s mehendi party…..he..he..” her voice chocked. Tears made their ways through her cheeks. Soon she wiped away the tears and continued “ he came there along with a girl… may be he will marry her… the girl was holding his hand…. And he looked happy with her…so…” she now stopped and looked up to Mahi and Gauri. Both were silent searching for words to console her but they knew no excuse or sentence can console her at this point of time. Soon an idea sparked in the brain of our Gauri Kumari Sharma.

“Anika bhojai tomorrow Saahil is coming for a holiday of a week so any plans about it?” Gauri tried to lighten the atmosphere, Anika also understood the purpose of the question so she let go her thoughts. “Anika… my dear question kumari see I know it’s hard to forget someone you love so you just go and tell him the truth” Mahi tried to figure out the solution of the problem. “No Mahi… I can’t do that or else… o..or else he will get shattered after knowing the truth of his illigetimacy.. I can’t let that happen” Anika said in one go imagining the consequence of disclosing the truth. “Mahi bhaiyaa leave it my Anika didi… ohh I mean.. Anika bhojai……” Gauri was speaking but again got interrupted by Anika “Anika didi suits better” “haannn??” Gauri did not understand what Anika tried to say “I mean Anika didi suits better from your mouth than Anika bhojai…. I felt my chutki is calling me…” Anika answered remembering her chutki. “Chutki? Who is that? You had a sister also? Where is she?” Gauri asked in one go. “Second question kumara of my life” Mahi said sarcastically. “Relax Gauri… I… I had a sister but I lost her… where I don’t remember but I just remember somebody adopted her from the orphanage…. I lost her” Anika replied softly. “We will find her together” Mahi assured Anika. “Hmmm” Anika just nodded her head knowing the irrelevancy of their search operation.

The scene shifted to the pool side of Oberoi Mansion. Our great Shivay Singh Oberoi was lost in thoughts of his wife. Om came and sat beside him. “Shivay don’t you think Anika bhabhi should return now?” Om questioned lost Shivay. No answer came from other side. Om again asked the same question but again no answer. Now Om looked upto Shivay who was leant against the tree present over their pool side and slept. Om brushed his hand through his brother’s hair and noticed the peaceful Shivay sleeping holding the mangalsutra. “you love her Shivay, you again became SSO for world but for her you are still her billu ji” Om assured ownself and was about to leave but decided to sat beside and look at his brother for some time. Om was staring him and he woke up as he slipped from his position. He opened his eyes to look Om already staring him. “What?” Shivay directly asked Om. “Mangalsutra” Om replied. Shivay tried to hide it but failed. “Shivay you are trying to hide that it’s fine but please don’t try to hide your feelings” Om calmly gave a try to make his brother realize. “Om I think I should complete the presentation there is a meeting tomorrow” Shivay tried to ignore Om’s words and opened the laptop that was lying on his side. “Not only is the desktop but your mind and heart also ruled by her images” Om again spoke up pointing the desktop wallpaper of Anika in Shivay’s laptop.

“Om let’s go to the kitchen not feeling like working” Shivay again tried to ignore Om’s words. “Hmmm… let’s go” Om nodded his head and a faint smile covered his face. The brothers went to their best hanging out place. Rudra was already present at the kitchen eating a carrot. “Rudra” Om called him. “Yeah?” Rudra responded and looked sharply at his brothers. “why are you eating this? Some time ago you had your protein shake right?” Shivay question his brother. “ Actually was feeling hungry” Rudra calm and shocking reply really shocked both the brothers. “Dumbbell Singh Oberoi feels hungry as well?” Om tried to pull Rudra’s leg. “okk boys what should we prepare for dinner today?” Shivay questioned looking at his watch. “Aloo Puri” both Om and Rudra replied in unison. Shivay’s face changed but he tried to hide that. “Bhaiyaa don’t try to hide your feelings na please” Rudra pleaded making puppy eyes.

“Today I saw her” a cold reply came from Shivay’s side. “What?” both Rudra and Om’s eyes bulged out of their eye sockets. “Yes she was the event manager at Mishra ji’s daughter’s mehendi party. Busy engrossed in work but was staring me through the corner of her eye but she was very much trying to ignore me” Shivay completed. “And you again ignored her?” Om questioned becoming a bit curious. “No I wanted to see her jealous so…” Shivay smiled at the corner of his lips and continued “so.. I became adhesive and stick to Priya to make her jealous” “wow… my bhaiyaa is becoming flirtatious.. hmmm” Rudra again applied his logic. “Shut up Rudra” Om scolded him. “Shivay have you gone mad you know Anika bhabhi can’t tolerate you with some other girl and you did that?…. wait let me call her and clear the misunderstandings” Om took out his phone but Shivay took it from his hand “No Om please she was okay with it…. No marks of jealousy were there on her face… but…” Shivay took a pause that was like stopping of time for both the brothers waiting for the completion of the sentence. “but…” Rudra tried to make Shivay realize the spot he stopped. “….but she ran out from the ceremony….

she thought she ignored me but when she took her last step into that ceremony she was broken and was trying to explain the importance of leaving the ceremony to Mrs. Mishra and after that she left.” Shivay completed and again stared at the mangalsutra he was holding in his hand. “Ohhh…. Nowadays mangalsutra also became an ingredient for alloo puri…. Om you knew that?” Rudra asked Om raising his one eyebrow. “Rudra when will you grow up?” Shivay cross questioned him and put the mangalsutra in his pocket.

The brothers made alloo puri and tasted one by one. “hmm.. nice” Shivay said praising himself but soon stopped looking at the stare of his both the brother. “what?” Shivay questioned. “Missing bhabhi’s khirkitor smile bhaiyaa which she was to give after tasting the alloo puri made by you” Rudra explained the reason and hugged his Shivay bhaiyaa. Om also joined them. Shivay’s eyes got filled by tears but he wiped away making sure that nobody noticed. “Boys relax she will of course return after all this is her house and I am her husband so just wait for the correct time” Shivay tried to give them hope and assure his ownself. He believed that Anika and he share an eternal connection which can’t be broken. He was happy he kissed the mangalsutra and looked at his brothers who was staring him lovingly at his cute antique.
