(Ratan’s POV)

“Ladies and gentlemen, flight TUxxxx flying from Bangkok to Jaipur will be landing in 30 minutes. We hope you had pleasant flight .”

It was 6:00am in the morning, Ratan couldn’t sleep the whole night……..this used to happen earlier as well but today it was a different feeling. Not only because it was is birthday but because he had become 21 today. He had thought about the day earlier as well but today it just gave him goosebumps…..he wasn’t sure of it either.
He was sleepy already…

“Sir, we are going to land, can you please tie your seatbelt?” One of the flight attendants said.

“Yeah. Sure” he said after suddenly being woke up from his chain of thoughts. He ties the belt.

(In the flight attendant cabin)

” Arrey, tumne dekha? Aaj to is plane mein Surajgarh ke raja travel ka rahe hain …? Do you know thousands of girls run behind him like crazy. Even I’m one of them.” Said one of them.

“Even me, And why not yaar he looks so smart and dashing. Archery mein India ko represent karta hai yaar woh…” said the other one.

(Back at his seat)

“I wonder what will happen today. Kaash hum kisi baat kar pate. Waise ek insaan hai jo hamari help kar sakta hai. Usse baat karne ka try to kar hi sakte hai.” Ratan thinks and looks to his sides.

“I just get irritated by these guys” he said looking at the two gentlemen of well built bodies seated next to him who btw are his bodyguards.

(Plane lands at Jaipur airport and there comes out Maharaja Ratan Maan Singh of Jaipur)

Dressed in a black bandhgala with a diamond brooch, his favourite sunglasses and a beautiful turban with an amazing pin. He looked nothing less than a Maharaja. Even though he preferred regular sports gear, today was a special day and with the press waiting for him outside the airport, kaki maa had instructed him to look elegant. After all he had a photo shoot and interview with a magazine before going home.

Just then phone rings, Ratan picks up the call…
“Happy birthday ratty, what about a party dude. I hate your royal parties yaar ……they are hell..how do you even manage to
stay awake there……”the voice said.

“Just a minute bro, please calm down. There’s a situation in here yaar. Please come to the airport now. I’m waiting for you
in the cafe. As fast as you can….please bro…” Ratan said.

“Kya hua bhai? Don’t freak out, I’m coming” Call ended

The guy on the phone was the most interesting person in Ratan’s life. His best friend, Aarav. The only person who could help him.

10 mins later in the cafe…

“Thanks for coming bro. I didn’t know what to do.”

“Chal thik hai, shuru se bata” Aarav said.

“Bhai uh , Hamne aapse ek baat chupayi he….uh….hamari shaadi ho chuki he..”Ratan said.

“Kya?” Aarav’s face fell.

“I’m married”

“Kya, kab, kese?”

“12 saal pehle”

“What.. aise kese kisi 9 saal ke bacche ki shaadi ho sakti hain…please don’t play this joke on me yaar, meri jaan nikal rahi hain.” Aarav requested.

“Nahi yaar. Its true. Let me explain……..” said Ratan…………….
