Ragini (with amused look)- OMG Sanskaar , I never thought you will be taking me on a date..!!

Sanskaar (in mind)- Yaa… because you always thought about other stuff than this sweet date. DATE…???? Why I am telling this as a date..!!! We just ate dinner together ..!! That’s not a date..!! Right..!!

Ragini (confused)- Did you say something..??

Sanskaar (in mind)- Who else can speak in front of you…!!!!

Ragini (leave her chair and came towards him)- What happened sanskaar…???

Sanskaar (in mind)-You happen…!! How can you talk about that just like that…!! And then become normal again..!!!

Ragini (shaking him little) – Sanskaar…!!!!!

Sanskaar (look at her and blink his eyes and again in mind)-  Look…!! How innocent you are looking…!!! (His eyes travel towads from her eyes to her lips) And these lips…!! (He gulped and wetted his dry lips from his tounge)

Ragini (little loudly this time)- Sanskaaaaaarrrr….!! What happened..??? Are you alright….!!!! Why are you looking at me like that..!!

He jerked and look at her with wide eyes. (To himself) What the hell Sanskaar….!!! What were you thinking…!!! This chudail made you like her only..!! Gluttry Mind…!!! Snap out of it…!!!

Sanskaar (smiling weakly)- Yaa…!! Yaaa…!!! I am fine..!! (gulp a glass water in a go) perfectly fine…!!!

Ragini too smile back but she was confused with his sudden change of behaviour. Sanskaar look at her and remembered what happened few minutes before.

45 Mintues  Before

Sanskaar halted his bike in front of a restaurant . When he didn’t find any movement he look back and saw her sleeping with a beautiful smile. He too smile looking at her and shake her little holding her shoulder.

Sanskaar – Wake up chudail..!! We are here…!!!

Ragini (rubbing her eyes)- We reached..!! (He nodded and she placed back of her palm on her mouth yawning and then smile) This was the best sleep I ever got…!!!

Sanskaar (not getting it asked confused)- You love sleeping on bike..??

Ragini (bluntly)-No, I love sleeping with you..!!

Sanskaar coughed with wide eyes and she bite her tounge realizing what she said.

Ragini (to divert him with a nervous smile)- Let’s go…!!!(place her hands on his shoulders and came down from bike) I am hungry…!!!

Sanskaar too compose himself and nodded nervously. Both headed inside the restraurent and ragini smile widely looking at the environment.This is the first time sanskaar took her somewhere happily…otherwise she was the one who only dragged him or blackmailed him through sujata to come along them.Yaaaaa….Them…!!! Not Her…!! He never came alone somewhere with her other than dropping her for college..And that too be out of his interest. Sanskaar shook her and she came out of her trail of thoughts. He make her sit on a chair first like a gentleman and then sat opposite to her giving her a soft smile. She too smile back. Both ordered their food. After some time being in a perfect silence when ragini completed her dinner first and look at sanskaar he seems lost somewhere while taking his bites slowly slowly.

Ragini (folding her hand across her chest)- I saw that…!!!

Sanskaar (confused)- Huh….????

Ragini – I noticed when you ate that cake piece..!!!

Sanskaar chocked and look at her nervous.

Sanskaar (taking a sip of water)- Wh..wha..what you noticed…!!!  (nervously) Everyone was eating and nobody ask me that’s why I took that..!!!

Ragini (shocked)- Really….!!!! (He nodded and she pouted sadly) I thought you ate it because my lips were printed on it..!!! And you only wanted to eat them..!!

Sanskaar look at her bewildered and coughed badly. Ragini rushed towards him and rub his back. She pour water in her glass and forwarded to him and he gulped in a go. His eyes became teary with continous coughing and ragini feel bad for saying it to him.

Ragini (concerned)- You Okay…?? (He nodded and she smile weakly)

She think to change the atmosphere and look at sanskaar smiling.

Ragini (with amused look)-  OMG Sanskaar , I never thought you will be taking me on a date..!!

Ragini (as usual sitting on bike behind his back)- It’s 10:30 sanskaar…!!! Now where are we going..?? You gave your surprise naa..!!

Sanskaar (confused)- Surprise..?? I gave..??

Ragini (smiling)- Haan…!!! Surprise ..!! Surprise date..!!(Sanskaar about to interrupt saying it’s not a date but she continued) You know Sanskaar this is my first date with you…!!

Sanskaar(little insecure) – With me…!!!  How many times you went on a date…????

Ragini (chuckled with his tone and thought to tease him)- ahhmm…let me count…!!! (counting on her finger) 10…11…12…

Sanskaar (intruppting her)- Why did  you start from 10..?? You went on date more than 10 times…????

Ragini (innocently)- Yaaaaaa….!!!

Sanskaar (annoyed)- You didn’t tell me…!!!!

Ragini – And why should I tell you…???

Sanskaar – Because I am your would be hus…………………..(he wide his eyes and ragini tilt her head and look at him surprised)

Ragini- What did you just said…????

Sanskaar (looking straight)- Nothing…!!! Sit properly…!!!!  And we reached here…!!!(mumbled himself) With whom she went on a date more than 10 times…!!!!

He parked his bike and ragini smile looking at the beach. She get down and run towards it  and stand at the shore closing her eyes with wide smile letting the water to touch her feet. He too came and stand beside her. For a second he forget where were they and what were they doing. He just got lost in the serene face whose eyes are closed , whose lips are streached into a heart-taking smile, whose hair were flowing in air like the waves in the ocean. He just want to stop this moment right there.

He moved little closer and his shoulder slightly brushed to her. She opened her eyes and smile at him which he returned immediately. Ragini hold his hand and interlaced her fingers with him. Don’t know but for some reason he tighten his hold around her fingers looking straight into her eyes. No words are needed to convey the emotion they are feeling right now. Ragini knows what sanskaar mean to her but did he realized till now what he was feeling for her . Standing this close to her , holding her hand in his hand , looking at the girl in front of him like he owns her. What was this feeling…!!!!!

Their this sweet moment broke by when someone by mistake sprinkled water on them. They departed their hand and look at eachother from the different emotions. This is the first time ragini want to run away from his sight feeing all nervous under his intense gaze. She fidget with her finger looking everywhere but him. Sanskaar smile seeing the effect he had on her from afar only. But he was amused to see the girl who can’t stop talking nonsense was now standing all nervous without uttering a word from the time they came here.

Sanskaar (to break the silence)- Don’t you want to know your surprise..?????

Her eyes lit up immediately listening about her surprise and she nodded her head in a vigourous ‘yes’ .

Sanskaar chuckled and forwarded a envelope to her from his back pocket.

Ragini (confused)- What is it…???

Sanskaar – It’s in your hand ….So I think You can see it by opening it..!!

Ragini (sarcastically)- O wow, Thank you….!!!! If you didn’t tell me ..then how would I get to know…!!!

Sanskaar (chuckled and then wink at her)- Pleasure is all mine chudail..!!

Ragini blushed and bend her head and open the envelope but frown after looking at the thing she found in it.

Ragini(feeling disappointed) – Sanskaar….!!! This is the surprise…!!!

Sanskaar (confused at her expression)- Yaaaa….!!! Aren’t you happy..???

Ragini – What is the thing to happy about..!!! Seriously Sanskaar…!!! You thought I didn’t book my flight ticket for Italy till now that you you booked ticket for Italy to surprise me…!!

Sanskaar – I thought you will be ha…….(realize what she said) What….???? Who told you this is for you…!!!! Didn’t you see properly…!!

Ragini (making faces) – It is my surprise so It’s for me only naa…!!! (gazing a glance again at ticket) And btw what is there to seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee………(She look at sanskaar and wide her eyes reading Sanskaar’s name on the flight ticket )

Ragini (jumping out of happiness and screamed happily)- OMG…!!! OMG….!!!! OMG…!!!! You are coming with me to Italy….!!! I can’t believe it…!!! OMG…..!!!! I am dreaming right…!!! We are on bike naaa….And I was sleeping…!!! This can’t be true…!!!! (Sanskaar laugh looking at her ) Is it true….???? (She eyed him and he nodded) OMG….!!!! (run towards him and hug him in a bone crushing hug…he stumbled back little but composed and hold her from her waist smiling) This is true…!!! You are real..!! You are coming with me..!!! This is the best….no… no…bestesttttttt surprise I ever got…!!! I love you Sanskaar….!!! I love you so so soooooo much….!!!!

Sanskaar (in a barely audiable voice without his knowledge)- And I love you too…!!!!!!

Ragini’s heart stopped beating the moment she listen those words. He realized what he said and  became shocked at his sudden confession. She immediately parted from him and look at him in wonder whether she listen him right or it is just her hallucination . He himself not know how those words escaped from his lips without his knowledge. Is this what his heart feel..!!! He was himself battling between his heart and his mind. His mind which was telling him that it was just a friendly love. Not the love which a man feel for a woman.He can never feel like that for her. He shut his eyes tightly and open it with a void of emotion.

Ragini (to confirm if he said those three word which she was craving to listen asked him again)- Did you said something….????

Sanskaar (took a sigh of relief that she didn’t listen anything) – No..!! Did you listen something…???

Ragini – Yes…!!! You were saying you…….!!(to herself) No this can’t be true..!! This is just your imagination…!!!(patting her head slightly and shook it) O GOD…!!! Kya hoga tera Ragini( What will happen to you Ragini)….!!! (to sanskaar smiling weakly) umm… Nothing…!!! I didn’t listen anything…!!!

He nodded and both sit on the sand looking at the waves lost in their own thoughts.
