The new show Tu Mera Hero, Shashi Sumeet Mittal’s production is replacing Ek Haseena Thi on Star Plus at the 8 PM slot, from December 22, 2014. The story of the show centre is around Titu and his ladylove Panchi, and how their chemistry works despite the former’s laid-back attitude towards life. Unlike other women-oriented daily soaps where focus is on ‘saas-bahu’ fights, we will depict the journey of Titu and Panchi in a unique way. Every character is given equal amount of space in the show. Titu is a lazy and relax kind of a person, but he has a great sense of humour. People are going to have a laughter ride with him. What makes him unique is his different take on life. Titu is a non-workaholic but very adorable. He is the perfect hero as he charms people with his imperfectness Panchi is a romantic girl who dreams of having a perfect life partner.
The leads of the show Sonia Balani and Priyansh Jora fit the bill perfectly and the jodi looks cute. Akhilendra Mishra will be playing the character of Govind who is Priyanshu’s father and Amita Khopkar is playing his mother. Charul Bhavsar and Sagar will esaay the role as Panchi’s parents. Madhuri Sanjeev will be seen as playing Priyanshu’s chachi who is a widow and Sneha Shah will essay her daughter’s role. The promos of the show are already on air and the promo looks quite interesting. It will be a comedy love tale. The show promises to bring out the finest aspects of life. Promo looks interesting especially the one in which titu switches off the lights by throwing his chappals. Hope to see a gud humerous story.

But who knows, saathiya still going and again now with the silky aachaar storyline apparently so ppl might tune in. Hope not! Hope star plus learns a lesson and it gets low trp or whatever they use to gauge shows! EHT will sorely sorely be missed. Huge gaping hole left behind!
