Karan was sitting on the floor in his room hugging his legs and crying his heart out! His phone rang! Kunal knocked at Karan’s door. But Karan didn’t respond.. until…
Kunal: Karan!!! Nidhi ka phone hein!!
Karan jumped up hearing her name! He ran and opened the door, wiping his tears away!
Snatched the phone from Kunal’s hand and attended the call!
Karan: hello?? Nidhi???
A voice: hello is this Karan?

Karan:Yes?!? Who is this?
The voice: Karan its me Sema! I called Maria she is not picking up the call ! Can you please come to ************
Karan’s heart skipped a beat..he immediately pushed Kunal aside and ran down the stairs, Kunal ran behind him!
Kunal: Karan! I’ll drop you!

Karan: No one asked for your help !
Kunal ignored his words and got into the car with him.
In no time they reached the place.. Karan ran in.. Kunal was shocked seeing that it was a hospital! He ran in a after his brother. They ran in, to halt in front of the ICU!
Karan and Kunal were breathing heavily! Karan turned to find Sema sitting with her head sank in her hands…he walked and stood in front of her she suddenly noticed two legs and looked up to find Karan standing in front of her. She immediately stood up to talk to him.. Her T-shirt had blood on it. He took a step back..

Karan:How?…
he somehow managed to utter a word as a tear rolled down his eyes!
Sema: Karan I was walking on the footpath..when I saw Nidhi..she was crying badly, she looked lost and distracted ‘ trying to cross the road, but wasn’t focusing on the road..I called out to her but she couldn’t hear me
Kunal: Kab hua?

Sema: Around 15 mins back! I was walking towards her..but it was just a fraction of a second and I saw her spin in the air and fall onto the road…then I ran to her and called the ambulance and also informed you!(turning to Karan)
Karan couldn’t bear it anymore.. She had been crying as she had heard Kunal and Karan talk..and he felt at that time itself that Kunal’s talk had affected her! He was also angry on letting her go immediately..His voice was lost as he found it difficult to speak. His heart and throat ached as he wanted to scream out and cry as loud as possible..but he had to keep silence

The Dr. Came out.. Karan looked at him with hope! But the Doctor nodded no! He kept his hand on Karan’s shoulders and said,”Sorry!”

Karan couldn’t control anymore! He had lost everything… his life! He was broken! He fell down on the ground crying!
Kunal went to pull him up!
As Karan felt Kunal’s hand on his shoulders..
Karan:NO!!!! ( He screamed) DON’T YOU DARE COME NEXT TO ME! THAT’S IT!!! I DONT EVEN WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE, LET ALONE TALK!!GO WAY!!
Kunal stepped aside and then he walked away! He never thought that this could have happened!
Flashback ends!

Karan(narration) (crying): Aur uske baad we never spoke to each other.. he tried a lot but I never… until today!….. But I felt good, Naina! I don’t know why! Thank you!
He slowly wiped his tears away.
He looked at Naina who was crying listening to this! She hugged his hand and cried on his shoulders! He felt really relaxed after telling her about his past! He looked up an admired the beauty of the night sky!

She promised herself: Mein tumhe kush rakhoongi… tumhe phir se jeena sikhaungi! Mein tumhe kush dekhna chahthi goon! Mere sath tum kabhi udaas nahi hoge! Tum aise nahi jaane doongi!
She wiped her tears !
She brought a smile to her face! She got up and stood in front him , suddenly! She pulled Karan’s hand and checked the time on his watch! She placed her hands on her hips..
Naina: Hello? You have any idea about the time? It is 3 am! Go sleep! Who will do the project in the morning? Huh? Today’s class is over !disperse now! We’ll have our next class at 10 ! So sleep till 9:00 okay?

Karan laughed at her!
Karan: Yes, Naina Ma’am!!
He got up and saluted and walked of! Leaving Naina laughing at him!

Soon days passed by.. Nairan’s college were done with their project. After returning to college, they got to know that their project was the 3rd best among the rest! Karan had learnt to celebrate! They threw a small party for each other for their good work….
Naina: Karan , Christmas holidays are on it’s way. How do you celebrate Christmas?
Karan: Christmas? We used to long back.. after that incident, everyone stopped celebrating few, while for few celebrations I never bothered to attend!

Naina put on a sad face!
Naina: Matalab this time also you will not celebrate?
Karan:mmmmm……. If you are there then maybe I could think about celebrating it.
Naina raised her eyebrows and then started giggling..
Naina: Only if you invite me Mr.!
Karan: ok! So Miss. Naina Solanki, I, Karan Singh Chauhan, would like to invite , to the Grandest Christmas party this year!!

Naina: Thank you so much!
Saying this she giggled again. Karan kept looking at her. He felt fortunate enough to have a friend like her! Who understood him in a very short time! She was just like his Masima!
Naina suddenly brightened up as an idea hit her mind!
Naina: Karan, Can I call my sister? Kunal bhai will also be there right? Di, can enjoy with all of us!

Karan: No problem! You both are always welcome!!
Naina: Can we keep it a secret? You could call Kunal bhai and tell him to be ready while Di comes in.. so it will be a great surprise for the two of them!
Karan found something weird.

He looked confused.
Naina understood that he didn’t know..
Naina: Toh you don’t know?

As days had passed… Kunal planned to propose her properly…as that day they had people around, Meghna didn’t say a word but he knew what she had in mind as he saw the sparkle of love for him in her eyes
He was waiting for the correct time!

Soon Christmas had arrived…
Meghna was sitting next to the window…she was dreaming about Kunal she was missing him…
Ahem!!

She turned to find Naina smiling at her ! She blushed. Naina started tickling her sister… soon the started chasing each other by running all through the house…
Kunal was in the same condition, he was lost somewhere.. thinking about Meghna! He stood next to window looking at the night sky..
That’s when Karan passed his room. Seeing his brother in such a condition he took few back and stared at him..
He thought Sorry Bhai for blaming you for that incident! I know why you told that to me, infact, even Nidhi knew ,the only reason why she had planned to leave! You are my brother and I know it was just a brotherly advice! I took you wrong!

Naina had told everything to her mom! Shardha was an open minded person.. she was happy to know that Meghna was in love. Naina’s plan and Karan’s past…everything was told to her.. she approved for their trip to Jaipur! Naina was taking her to Jaipur in the name of work!
On Christmas.. NK and Sandhya had gone out for a grand party in their office! Nirmala had finished her household chores and had been seated herself on her bed! Khyati was listening to music in her room and dancing.. Dadaji was looking out of the window , sitting on his chair! Kunal was busy looking at Meghna’s pics in his laptop, and smiling. Karan slowly got out and decorated the whole house with the help of the servants.

Then Karan went to Kunal door-
Karan: bhai! Mujhse apse Baath karna hein!
Kunal came out of his world and opened the door!
Kunal: Karan?
Karan gave a box.

Karan: Bhai, Wear this and come down!
Kunal was confused by Karan’s behaviour. Karan was still not sure of why Naina had asked for such an arrangement. That boax was all Naina’s plan.. it had a costume and also a small box with a ring..
Kunal was shocked to see all that.. He was confused. He just wore it and came down.. He was really surprised to see the whole house decorated very beautifully. He saw him brother who was sitting on the couch playing a game on his phone..

Karan then saw his Bhai..
Karan: Wow! Aap toh bade handsome lag rahe ho!
He got up and hugged his brother. Who couldn’t take so many surprises all at once.. he was just frozen!
Karan: Bhai! I’m very sorry for blaming you for all that! I’m sorry!
Kunal smiled and hugged his brother back!
Kunal: I know! It’s okay! Par yeh sab Kya hein? Yeh suit, shirt aur pant.. acha hein par kyun? Aur woh ring?
Karan broke the hug. He understood know!
Karan: Abh pata chala ki woh itna kyun uchal rahi thi..
Kunal: huh? Kya?!

Karan: kuch nahi!
A car stopped in front of the door! Two beautiful girls stepped out of the car! Karan was mesmerised by Naina’s beauty! Naina smiled at him.. seeing him standing next to Kunal.
Kunal jumped in excitement and hugged his brother! Tight!
Kunal: Bhai you are awesome!
Hearing all the noise Dadaji, Nirmala and Khyati came out. They were surprised to see the brothers hugging each other
Karan: bhai!! Leave me! I can’t breathe
Kunal laughed at him and broke the hug!
Kunal: Thank you so much bhai!

Karan: I can’t take all the credit ! Most of it goes to Naina!
The three of them came down. They were shocked to hear a girl’ s name from Karan’s mouth.
Nirmala came towards them teary eyed. Kunal and Karan turned towards her. They looked at each other as Nirmala placed her hands on her son’s cheeks.
Nirmala: I’m happy to see you both together after a long time..

She smiled as the brothers hugged her together. Khyati joined them..
Dadaji: Tum dono ko sath dekh kar hum bohot kush hai!
They broke the hug and took blessings from Dadaji and hugged him! Nirmala wiped her tears and looked at Khyati and Khyati hugged her mom.
Naina and Meghna were really happy seeing this Meghna hugged her sister..
Meghna: Thank you so much cheeku mujhe pata hein..all this was your plan right! I’m proud of you! Love you cheeku!!
Kunal and Karan walked towards them.

Kunal and Karan: please come in Solanki sisters!
They broke the hug.

Kunal forwarded his hand to Meghna. Meghna looked at Kunal and all around.. Karan and Naina laughed at them.. Meghna the placed her hand on his. And he took her in front and introduced her to the family.
They knew that they liked each other Meanwhile Karan and Naina stood next to each other watching their siblings. Karan still looking at them, leaned sideways to whisper!
Karan: Naina! Tum aaj kuch zyaada hi beautiful lag rahi ho!
Naina looked at Karan and
Naina: Aur tum bohot Dashing lag rahe ho!

Karan: woh toh Mein hoon hi!
They laughed and Naina lightly punched his stomach!
Everyone watched the two of them.. They were happy to see Karan back and they thanked Naina for this change!(in their minds)
