Helly Shah’s Devanshi and Jigyasa Singh’s Thapki Pyar Ki to go OFF air?
Colors’ shows Devanshi and Thapki Pyar Ki are reportedly going off air. Reason? Their dwindling TRPs. Devanshi recently took a time leap as the social drama was unable to rake in numbers. The makers roped in Helly Shah and Mudit Nayyar to spike up the ratings but even that didn’t work in their favor and now they have considering pulling down the show. A source associated with the show informed Times of India, “The ratings of the show have plummeted since the leap.” However Helly says she is unaware of any such development. She told the daily, “I am not aware of the show going off air. Let’s wait and watch.”

Colors’ another show Thapki Pyar Ki, which started in year 2015, is also slated to go off-air next month since it has not been able to fare well on the TRP charts. It is said that Manish Goplani was going to make a comeback on the show but the idea has now been put on hold. A source told a portal, “Despite the changes in the time slot, the numbers saw no change. The fate of the show has almost been sealed and whether the show sees the light of day anytime soon is a question that remains.”

The channel is all set to bring two new shows – medical drama ‘Savitri Devi College Aur Hospital’ and comedy show ‘Bhaag Bakool Bhaag’ by May. Although they are yet to decide the dates and the time slots, it’s being said that they will replace Devanshi and Thapki Pyar Ki.
