shekhar when few indian FEMALE having weak moral (gal or woman) determined to get something , her state of mind parted, one part being WESTERN state, think, what if its happens once or few times, but I am getting what I want, and that part of her MODERN MIND SET compromise with her ethics against what she is getting, and at that state of being MODERN , she put her second part of conventional INDIAN WOMAN BEING at silent mode, and being INDIAN she keep cursing her self whole life all through. She can not find her self a REAL PROUD WOMAN at any stage of life. What is common in some of western and other country, is being considered as OUT OF WAY HERE. What you said, I am totally agree with you, ANY WOMAN SHOULD NOT UTTER A SINGLE WORD IF SHE HAD ALLOWED IT FOR A PURPOSE at least. Going one step ahead, woman in india is either MODERN or TYPICAL CONVENTIONAL INDIAN WOMAN, there is no space of IN BETWEEN like. If you become a MODERN for gain in kind, you have no right to be the part of TOO ME.

morusya51 sorry for replying late but you actually put all the essence in this post... this is what i feel; women/girls are confused in between the two transitions they are going into. the MODERN SHE says she can carry on with things a few times as long as she is getting her goals and the TRADITIONAL SHE starts thinking about her culture and all.

shekhar Take a look over the trend in USA, children are being informed to stand on their own asa they cross the age 16. and in the process they find their own way . Parents then keep losing the grip from over their children's decisive matter, children start to think independently and eventually they take their parent's suggestions as interference in their personnel life and start to ignore parents , some leave the home, stop to worry about parents and that relation then come stands to a formal state. In their old age, parents are keep losing hope for any help from child. To stand stood on their own by children was a convenient situation then for parents, to ignore the old aged parents is the convenient situation for their now grown children, that is what we believe it as MODERN! TO step out of a marital relation is the convenient position for a person going to involve with other person out side of marriage, that is what we believe as MODERN! We are used to define their convenient situation as MODERN! Infact, they found a ESCAPE from performing their responsibility from each such convenient situation they are being put in . In my POV, the person who accept the new responsibility along with his old responsibilities is MODERN! Instead,in India , person who take care of his parents, who rolls on his life with the person he/she never wanted to, is being considered as ORTHODOX in high class society! It is said, EVERY MODERN PERSON HAS A GREAT PLAY OF VOLATILE MORALITY & STANDARD OF LIFE to which we define as the MODERN THINKING! Though It is a long enough, but me is sure, you will get it!

morusya51 oh my goodness! if i look at this post of yours i actually found the right definitions for being MODERN and ESCAPING a situation...today everything is right until it is benefitting you and it becomes wrong the moment there isnt any golden egg left out of the situation. honestly, i like this point you gave light of " leaving parents", perhaps because somewhere i am a very sensitive person and this upsets me when i hear such an incident... i hope in future we become your kind of MODERN so somewhere we are still left the humans not the ADVANTAGE SEEKING GHOSTS we are eventually turning out to be. Thank you so much Shekhar for dropping such a great and thoughtful thing, it feels so good to raise discussions on things we kind of ignoring nowadays. i am happy with the #MeToo post cause it could enlighten many other important things.

shekhar Person who is sensitive to the matter, only can reach to the core meaning of a matter. When sensitive person used to take a look over other side of a matter going against what he/ she used to see, then only real meaning of mattet can be explored, otherwise feelings lying behind such emotions riden sensitivity make person biased, and sees only those things which that person wanted to see, and never take a look on other side of matter, in the fear of, WHAT IF THAT FACT WILL BE AGAINST WHAT HE / SHE IS EXPECTING? I know, after going through your posts on your wall and having a flying visit to some of your FF, and over more DP you hanged is enough to understand that, you have a good understanding of any matter coming on the board. Sensitivity along with non biased attitude is good to have, other wise mostly what happen is, we find them in distressed state always. Controlled emotions with sensitivity make the person reasonable to life, to people around.
